Bikini Bottoms, come in all shapes and sizes at Butterflies and Bikinis
Bikini bottoms, come in all shapes and size and I am not talking about the girls wearing them. Today more than ever, we have a sea of options from the standard full coverage bottom to the Thong and everything in between. The moderate cut for the conservative, Brazilian cut for minimal coverage for those who like the freedom and attention, Ruched or Scrunch Butt bottom which has gained huge popularity, Tanga and thong for maximum exposure, and boy brief bottom and boy Brief Tanga cut for moderate or minimal coverage which is a super hot trend this year for 2011 and one of my favorites.   When you say the word bikini, it no longer translates to the one invented in 1946 by Louis Reard and donned by Micheline Bernardini. A string bikini, it was far ahead of its time in the fashion world and banned in many countries. The United States would shun the bikini, of any sort, for over a decade, reasoning that any decent person would never wear such a thing. It was 1957 when the US finally adopted it. Even then, you would have to thank the entertainment industry for bringing it to the mainstream, such as Brian Hyland’s “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” pop song, which fueled a buying frenzy in our country for the first time in 1960. The big screen movies came next and the American Bikini has been a mainstay ever since. What ever bottom you choose, you are sure to find the right fit, style, and coverage that represents your needs, attitude, and sense of adventure. Swimwear is about personal style and taste, being fun, free, uninhibited, and to be enjoyed.
