Poko Pano- 2010 Collection, Eco Conscious Brazilian Swimwear, Check it out!

Inspired by the world's eco-conscious efforts, the 2010 Poko Pano Collection celebrates Brazil's most beautiful and natural attraction, The Amazon.  The collection was a way to show people, "that you can find beauty from things we take for granted in our daily lives," says Poko Pano designer Paola Robba. Check out the "Mosha" Bikini pictured left! Paola captured the rainforest by using natural colors to create one-of-a-kind prints.  "Since fashion has such strong exposure, it's a great avenue for social responsibility," the designer says. Part of the proceeds of the Guarana print bikini will be donated to the World Wildlife Federation to help the organization continue its work in preserving the Amazon rainforest.  2010 marks over two decades of achievement for Poko Pano in Brazil and beyond. Poko Pano was launched in Brazil in 1988 and became known for its creative styles featuring innovative handiwork - embroidery, knitting, macramé and needlepoint - that showcase the infamous craft talents of the Brazilian people.
